My name is Mrs. Angel Hebert, I am an army wife and a mother of a beautiful daughter Demi Rose. I am currently working towards my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children for 10 years and have worked at the Calvary Early Learning Center since 2017. My favorite part of working with kids is watching them learn new skills. My favorite Bible verse is Matthew 14:27 “But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid. “

As your child makes the transition to the Explorers classroom, we would like to make it as smooth as possible. In this room, we will be putting the finishing touches on potty training. This is an exciting time in your child’s development and we will work with you in making it a successful one. We ask that your child is in the velcro sided pull-ups. These help your child with their toileting independence. There are also some other rules in this classroom that may be different  than in previous rooms. We will begin to use regular cups, please do not bring sippy cups.

When you drop your child off, please bring them into the classroom, put their items in their cubby, wash their hands and then tell them goodbye. This is to help make your child’s transition easier. Welcome to the Investigators

We have an exciting time planned for your child. We have a lot of fun and exciting things planned for your child in our class. We put the final touches on potting training, as well as many other self-care, independent tasks.

My name is Natalie, I have one daughter, Bella.  I have been in childcare for over 13 years and working at Calvary ELC since May of 2016. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University. I love teaching young children. One of my favorite parts of teaching is planning and implementing activities. I enjoy being able to teach a lesson and seeing the children apply what we have learned together. One of my favorite quotes by Dana Stewart Scott is “Learn as much as you can while you are young since life becomes too busy later.”

As your child enters our classroom, we would like to make the transition as smooth as possible. In this room, we will be putting the finishing touches on potty training. This is an exciting time in your child’s development and will work with you in making it a successful one. Most children should already be in underwear. There are also some other rules in this classroom that may be different than the previous rooms. We use regular cups in this classroom, please do not bring sippy cups.

When you drop your child off, please bring them into the classroom, put their items in their cubby, wash their hands and then tell them goodbye. This is to help make your child’s transition easier.

Please do not bring book bags, diaper bags or lunch boxes. This is a requirement from our state licensing agency. Also, please remember to sign in and out daily. Welcome to the Adventurers

We have a lot of fun and learning planned ahead of us. Before we get started, here is some basic information you may need. We are very happy you will be joining our class and cannot wait to become best of friends!

My name is Ms. Brenda and I am originally from West Palm Beach, FL. I have my CDA along with many other credits in childhood development. I will obtain my B.A. in Christian Psychology; which includes family counseling, marriage counseling and children. I have worked with children for over five years, a Pre-K teacher and with the Department of Defense with the Army sector.  Along with structure and discipline, I believe a child should enjoy being a child. When given the love and support they need, the sky’s the limit and they can learn so much with their hearts and minds. Psalms 127:3-5 “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.”

Children must be carefully shaped and formed with skill and strength. They are an extension of their warrior’s (parents) strength and accomplishments. Children are one of our greatest rewards from the Almighty.

When you drop off your child, please bring them into the classroom, place their items in their cubby, wash their hands and then tell them goodbye. This is to help make your child’s transition easier.

Parent involvement is very important in the classroom. We may ask you to share things that go with the curriculum, make a family poster and maybe come by for special events. If you need help with anything, please do not hesitate to contact me. Together we can have a vibrant and blessed year.

Sincerely,

Ms. Brenda
